Mini Japanese Drama Reviews

If you know me you know I don’t watch many Japanese drama. But lately, during exam week I’ve watched a few Japanese dramas so I’m going to do mini reviews on them.

Rich Man Poor Women:
Rich Man Poor Women image

I’ve actually watched this a while ago, just when it finished airing. This drama wasn’t bad, but memorable enough for me to write a mini review on. I think they did a good job with the cast. All the characters acting is believable, but some of the characters were a little exaggerated but it isn’t a very big problem since it is pretty hilarious. Oguri Shun is a great actor, and Ishihara Satomi is pleasant to look at and is decent in acting. I genuinely enjoyed this drama, but after watching it I didn’t have the urge to watch the special which is not a good sign. I felt that at times the plot dragged on a little, but that can be overlooked because of all the little cute parts in between. OST wise, it’s nothing special but the music really fits the scenes so that’s always a good thing. Conclusively, this drama is like a little treat. I would give it a 7/10. Nothing amazing, but it’s enjoyable.

Switch Girl 1&2:
Switch girl 2

OMG OTP FOREVER! Watched both seasons in two days, one season each day. I think this jdorama has to be my favorite jdorama out of all the jdorama i’ve seen so far (well and also Operation Daisakusen.) It is humorous, but also relatable. I think a lot of girls can relate to Nika, but not many guys can relate to Arata but that’s okay because I’m pretty sure the target audience is girls. I do like both seasons a lot, but maybe the first season a little bit more. The Monkey King in the second season is just down right weird and pretty much useless. I don’t really understand her exists except for the last couple episodes, but she’s really annoying and she creeps me out generally. The Monkey King in the first season is great, she’s relatable and she doesn’t annoy me as much as the Monkey King in the second season. Now about the actual main characters, Nishiuchi Mariya and Kiriyama Renn’s chemistry is great which is a big reason to why this OTP works. They are great together, not only the characters themselves but the actors have chemistry which is a big part of any drama or movie. Nishiuchi Mariya is a Japanese model, not only is she pretty but her acting is actually really good. I hope she acts in more dramas in the future. The kissing scenes *insert whistling* in both seasons are fantastic, you don’t have those really bad kiss scenes where they just smack their lips together for like 3 seconds (I’m pretty sure you all know what I mean.) So I appreciate that the kiss scenes were actually good/decent. Overall I LOVE it, I would definitely recommend it. I would give it a solid 9 out of 10, the only complaint I have is that sometimes it takes things not serious enough when they should have. For example the freezer scene or the rape scene, I thought that they took it way too lightly. It is fun, but I felt like they took the bully too carelessly although it is a very serious problem.

Last Cinderella:
last cinderella

Just finished it last night! ASDFGHJKL; SO HAPPY MY OTP ARE TOGETHER (SPOILER KINDA NOT REALLY.) I enjoyed this drama a lot. Many say that the ending is too rushed, but I love it I didn’t think it is rushed but I could see why some people say that. In the beginning I honestly didn’t enjoy it because of all the messed up things that occur but later it is cute yet sometimes really serious. I honestly did not enjoy Ryoko Shinohara’s look in this at all. I wished they got her a makeover like in Cinderella, but sadly nopeee. Also although Ryoko Shinohara and Haruma Miura are cute in this drama together but I always feel as if Sakura is too awkward around Hiroto like she can’t be herself. But with Rintaro she can be herself and their chemistry is much much stronger. In the end however, Rintaro and Sakura do not look good as a couple, Sakura looked so awkward when Rintaro gave her a hug. But when Hiroto gives Sakura hugs she looks comfortable. Some people are just better off as friends I guess. The OST is definitely sometimes I must talk/type about, it is brilliant. I love that song “Last Love”, it’s great I just wish the song is longer. Oh and the side stories are good, but the one about her friend’s marriage is so bad! *SPOILER* I would totally divorce that man, he willingly cheated! Oh and Chiyoko’s reason for wanting Hiroto to suffer with her is HORRIBLE, LIKE OMG. I want to punch her. It was her that didn’t want to erase the scar so you can’t blame Hiroto! Plus he was just trying to make food for you, because you said you want some! ASDFFGHJKK; AND THE PARENTS ARE EVEN WORST. What type of father are you?! SDFKJSDJFLSJKF I hate him so much. The ending is kind of cute though. Ultimately, I do recommend this. I would give it a 8/10.

Kimi Wa Petto:
Kimi Wa Petto

K. No. I don’t like it. Yeah that’s pretty much it. I don’t like it. The idea is interesting, and a lot of the events that happen in it are interesting and cute. But overall the plot and the storyline just doesn’t capture me. There really isn’t much to say about it. It is a good drama to kill time with but I wouldn’t re-watch it. I wouldn’t recommend it, I give it a 4/10.

Songs accumulated from MANY WEEKS CONT. Week #13

This is the cont. to the last song of the week.

I cannot tell you how much I love them. More precisely L/Myungsoo. I obviously don’t just like Infinite because of L, but because they are honestly a really hard working group that sings and dances well. Remember when I said that Infinite feels like a rookie group while B.A.P doesn’t, although Infinite debut way before B.A.P? Well, it’s not entirely true. Infinite doesn’t give off the rookie group feel to me any more, but I think it was because B.A.P’s charisma and confidence on stage is so strong they seem to skip the rookie part. Infinite and B.A.P are both very charismatic on stage, but I got to say on stage I enjoy watching B.A.P more just because their confidence and strong powerful dancing just blows me away. But Infinite’s dancing is very synchronized meaning they practice very hard, which also impresses me. Their recent comeback “Man In Love” is not bad, but I like “The Chaser” and their other songs except for “She’s Back” much more. “Man In Love’ just didn’t really do it for me, it is a great song, just not as catchy and I don’t really like the choreography as much as I liked their past choreography.

If you know me, I don’t like Jay Park. I don’t like his image, and I certainly don’t like his past songs. I might will get a lot of hate for not liking Jay Park but even when he was in 2PM I didn’t like him. I know a lot of people like him, but I don’t see what’s so great about him. Yes, he dances well and he has an attractive body, but so does many other KPOP artist. So imagine to my surprise Jay Park released this song. WHOA. THIS VIDEO HAS TOO MUCH CUTENESS and URGH EVERYTHING I LIKE. I really like this song, but then he had to go and release “Welcome”. Ok, all my friendly feelings towards him goes WHOOSH down the drain. OMG PUT ON A SHIRT FOR GOD SAKE. I know fangirls are going to HATE me. BUT I DON’T WANT TO SEE YOU WITH YOUR SHIRT OFF FOR THE ENTIRE VIDEO. Like he has his shirt on for like 10 seconds, not even in the WHOLE entire video. AND THE LYRICS. OMG. This type of song, should be labelled porn in song form. OMG who releases these type of songs?! well Jay Park does. WELL OTHER THAN “WELCOME”, “JOAH” is a really good song.

This song is so much BLOCK B feel, well that makes sense cause Zico help wrote it. I didn’t like the song right away, but then the chorus kicked in and I was sold. This is one of those songs you want to dance to. It’s a fun, and cool song. I LOVE IT.

You got a hole in your face:

PHANTOM!!! I love Phantom, like omg I LOVE THEM. This song is amazing, I love it. Another song that is really good is, “Come As You Are”. I honestly think they are so talented, and so underrated. Their voice is like a little piece of heaven. JUST GREAT. Oh and Sanchez with G.NA released a song, “A Beautiful Day”, it’s a beautiful song. With a mixture of her voice and his beautiful voice creates such beautifulness it almost hurts.

There is no way I was going to NOT talk about this. IT’S AN AMAZING SONGGG and video. THE DANCE IS PURE GENIUS. Their first stage on Music Bank for this was by far my favorite out of any of their stage performance. They look SEXY and FIERCE and just so feel disrupting. My feels were everywhere. THEY LOOK SO GOOD. URGH. On the album though, my favorite song isn’t this one it would be “ZERO”. But I don’t listen to “ZERO” much, although I like it better. I also like “COMA”, great song. Let’s not talk about the MV, let;s just say that you can’t trust YoungJae like you can’t trust SM Entertainment.

SHINee minus Jonghyun:

Can you even say SHINee is SHINee without Jonghyun?! NO. I’m boycotting the MV for “Why So Serious”, the actual song is fine but not video. The song itself you can hear Jonghyun’s voice very clearly and well, which on stage and the music video you don’t. Watching the live performances, they gave all the FREAKING HIGH NOTES AND “SCREAMING” LONG NOTES TO TAEMIN. TAEMIN. TAEMIN. I am not happy right now. They are giving way too much parts to Taemin, wile Onew and Jonghyun aren’t getting as much as I was hoping. I have nothing against Taemin, but it’s just that Taemin’s voice isn’t as comparable as Onew or Jonghyun’s. I loveeee Onew’s voice in “Why So Serious” like it’s perfection, maybe even a little better than Jonghyun’s. But Jonghyun’s octave is much better than Onew’s. BUT TAEMIN, NO. JUST NO. He’s high notes are high, but they aren’t as powerful and mind blowing as Jonghyun’s (you na what I mean? ONE SHOT REFERENCE). AND WHY CAN’T THEY WAIT FOR JONGHYUN TO RECOVER BEFORE RELEASING “WHY SO SERIOUS” I DON’T MIND WAITING, EITHER DOES A LOT OF SHAWOLS. Anyway, “Nightmare” is probably one of my favorite songs from this album. Actually all the songs on this album is really good surprisingly. I honestly don’t like where SHINee is heading with “Dream Girl”, “Sherlock” and “Why So Serious” it’s a really drastic change from what I fell in love with them from which is “Hello”, “Replay” and “Lucifer” but this album I didn’t mind. I hope they look back to their roots for their next album and really go back to that time. I miss seeing them in leather, and their sexy image or cute image. *sigh* I miss the old SHINee. But I still love SHINee.

Song accumulated from A LOT of weeks. Week #12

Instead of just posting a GIGANTIC list of music videos or just songs I’ll be posting the group or singer, or/and a video of the one I’m most obsessed with ๐Ÿ™‚ There will most likely be a CONT. to this post but labelled Week #13.

OMG, you would not believe how obsessed/in love I am with this band. They are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and definitely underrated. I fell in love with HANBYUL. His sense of humor, his singing and his Australian accent together makes him just so irresistible! LED Apple as a band is also really talented, and their music style has something to it that other bands don’t. LED Apple is currently doing a series on YouTube called MUSIC NOTE, the profits made from the videos all go to charity for children without clean drinking water. Music Note is a weekly video of songs which LED Apple covers (eg. Go Away by 2NE1, Sherlock by SHINee and We Will Rock YOu by Queen). Watching their series, Music Note, is not only entertaining but also for a good cause! The song above is Hanbyul’s most recent duet with ZIA. This girl can sing, but her voice overpowers Hanbyul’s voice way too much. You can hardly hear Hanbyul when they sing TOGETHER. Other than that, it’s a really cute song ^^ Their recent cover of 4Minute’s “What’s Your Name?” is fantastic, in my opinion it’s better than the original ๐Ÿ™‚ CHECK IT OUT.

I was very surprised that I really enjoyed this song. Maybe cause of the reference to Tarzan, which brings me back to the time when I was a kid and watching Disney’s version of Tarzan (Movie), I don’t know why but it really warms my heart (this song). I never really liked Wonder Boyz, honestly I don’t really like them now either it’s just that this song is pretty catchy and I like it, simple as that. The video’s cute with really nice graphics and effects, but kind of creepy with him stalking her. But all in all it’s a good song, and cute video.

Lee Hyori is Miss Korea:

I don’t know what else is there to say other than Lee Hyori. Who doesn’t love her? She’s amazing. She’s gorgeous, great dancer, great singer, great person in general. She’s like the full package. You can never go wrong with her. This song is addictive and I love the lyrics. The meaning behind this song is much deeper than what one may expect. I love how she’s not singing about the typical things like love and heartbreak, not saying that I hate songs about love and heartbreak because I do love those types of songs but it’s just way over done that it’s refreshing to listen to songs like this. I really love this song. I’m so psyched for bad girl, the teaser looks amazing and she looks even better (no surprise there). OMG HOW CAN SHE BE SO PERFECT?!

How can you not be excited? 2PM is back! They haven’t really any Korean promotions since June 2011. THAT’S A LONG TIME, way longer than EXO (which is why I don’t really like exotics so whiny.) “COMEBACK WHEN YOU HEAR THIS SONG”, is sadly not their comeback song (weird, right?) “All Day I Think Of You” is actually their comeback song, which I don’t like frankly. Junho’s voice is heavenly in this song, but Taecyeon just doesn’t seem to belong in this song for some reason. His rap just doesn’t go with the song, like it’s just there (kind of like B1A4’s “What’s Happening”, gosh I don’t like that song.). The video itself is shot really artistically, especially with the seven deadly sins but the ending when all the guys are walking towards one girl it’s just a little weird. Other than that, I really liked the video. I haven’t listen to the rest of the album so for right now this is my favorite song from the album so far.

I didn’t know this before, but apparently Kevin isn’t actually in UBEAT. So the Tumblr jokes about how it’s actually Kevin feat. UBEAT isn’t actually false, which takes out all the fun sadly. According to the interview uBeat (AJ and ELI) and Kevin did with Simon And Martina (LOVE THEM) UKISS might have another subunit for the members that sing, like Kevin and Soohyun, and they joked about how if Kevin doesn’t get put into any subunit groups he could be uKEVIN, meaning SOLO DEBUT (like CL!!!!). Now let’s talk about the song; I LOVE IT, but it seems like there is an awful lot of Kevin in it, which doesn’t make much sense cause it is a uBEAT album and not uKEVIN album. But putting that aside, I love this album and not just this song, I think the whole album is perfection honestly. “Missing You” is mostly likely my favorite from the album but I find myself listening to “Should Have Treated You Better” more though.

The Real Reason We Broke Up:

Honestly I don’t really like Younha that much, she’s a great singer but her songs never really got to me. This song though, is beautiful. I love her voice in this, it flows together so well. The lyrics seems to be really easy for people to relate to (not that I can, but a lot of people could) which is key to a good song. It’s a beautiful ballad, if you like these types of songs or just wanting to listen to a beautiful sad ballad song.

MINI REVIEWS. Nice Guy, Flower Boy Next Door, Office Girls

Nice Guy:

Oh my gosh. This has to be my favorite pairing in a long time. Song Joong Ki and Moon Chae Won both are one of my favorite actress/actors. Song Joong Ki is honestly an amazing actor he can pull off any image, sexy or cute. I fell in love with Moon Chae Won in “Brilliant Inheritance”, when she played the “evil” stepsister of Han Hyo Joo. Both actors acting is supreme, Park Si Yeon’s acting isn’t all that amazing but it wasn’t horrendous. She plays the villain part really well. If acting is a very major part in your dictionary of what makes a drama really good, I say this wouldn’t be too low on your list of good dramas.
The plot is very refreshing. I don’t believe I have seen a drama with such plot line that even comes close to it. In the beginning I thought this drama was either going to be a disaster or pure genius, honestly I wouldn’t go so far as call it genius, but it definitely surpass disaster. I would say this is one of my favorite 2012 dramas. When I first read the synopsis for “Nice Guy” I was confused, I had no idea how this drama was going to play out or the direction it was going to go; however, watching the actual drama the plot is very clear to an extent. At times I had no idea what was going on or why it was happening, but for most of it the motives and events are clearly explained.
Overall this drama is a definite YES in my dictionary of good dramas. If you’re a fan of romance, WATCH. If you just want some eye candy (Song Joong Ki) WATCHHH. If you’re not a big fan of a lot drama in a drama (confusing….) and you rather watch something light, ummm…this drama might not be such a good choice for you. All in all I liked it, but you might not.

Flower Boy Next Door:

Other than the fact that Yoon Si Yoon is like on the list of my ideal guys, he’s also a terrific actor. Park Shi Hye isn’t bad either. I actually really like Park Shi Hye, although she broke my ShinWoo’s heart, she’s really pretty with or without makeup and her acting is pretty good too. Although Park Shi Hye’s character in this drama does not do her acting skills any justice, if you compare her acting in “Flower Boy Next Door” and “You’re Beautiful” both dramas had me convince the characters she plays are not just written in characters but are actual people. Yoon Si Yoon’s character, Enrique Geum, is a very cute man. Which Yoon Si Yoon played very well. Although I’m not a big fan of the characters in this drama, there isn’t really more sides to them, they’re very plain characters. The acting portion is good, but you can’t really base it on anything because the characters aren’t written very well. Not anything special, but played the way they are written.
The plot is nothing special, but at the same time unique. The storyline is predictable, but something no one really explored too much into. There really isn’t much to say about this drama. It’s a good drama to watch if you’re into light and comedy dramas. While if you’re looking for like full on romance, melodrama this ain’t for you.

Office Girls:

This is one of those dramas where it shouldn’t have been extended, but it was. I have mixed emotions for this drama, one minute I love it the next I can’t stand it. In the beginning it was fun, and light but later it was boring and cute. But the cuteness didn’t outweigh the boringness (oh no it didn’t.) If it ended with the original 20 episodes and not extended I believe it would have been a whole lot better.
The OST wasn’t bad though, especially ๅพฎๅŠ ๅนธ็ฆ by Yisa Yu. It’s a really good song, in my opinion. The plot line was predictable, but it is a lot cuter and funnier than I anticipated which is definitely a great. Roy Qiu is HOT, which is a definite bonus. EYE CANDYYYY~! I think they picked a very suitable actor to play the RICH spoiled brat, Qin Zi Qi. Roy Qiu is very suitable to play these characters because he gives that vibe, but I really want him to be cast in a different role next time. The character is just way too predictable. I wish there was a least a little twist or something to throw me off. Honestly I wouldn’t watch this again, I don’t recommend it if you get bored easily or anyone for that sake. If you love Roy A LOT, you might not find it that bad, cause when it gets boring just stare at his face. He’s good looking, what can I say?

I’m so sorry that I haven’t been updating for such a long time. There really isn’t any excuses for my lack of posts, I guess it’s just my lack of motivation. Any whooo, if you guys are still interested in what I like or what my current obsessions are you can definitely check out my tumblr, I’ve been posting a lot on my tumblr lately so check it out!

I don’t think I’ll be doing any full drama reviews any time soon (unless it’s like really good), but I will be doing mini reviews and more song recommendations. I have a LOT of songs I’ve been in love with in the past couple months. I do have a post I think you guys might like, so keep an eye out for that ๐Ÿ™‚ And with dramas, I’ve watched a couple dramas during spring break a couple weeks back that I would like to do mini reviews on and some HK dramas. Honestly there hasn’t been a kdrama that I really been obsessed with or really in love with lately. I feel like kdramas are kind of going downhill along with HK dramas (which has been for a couple years now actually). I might some Twdramas I want to review too, so keep an eye out for that too! Hopefully I will do more updates and posts soon!ย

I’m sorry I’ve been gone for such a long time. I’ve just been occupied with school work and other stuff. So to fill you guys in I’ve been watching “Arang and the Magistrate”, “Faith”, “Absolute Boyfriend” (Taiwanese Version, last episode), “Ojakgyo Brothers” (around episode 47), “I love Lee Tae Ri” (episode 11) and I’m finishing up “Haeundae Lovers”. But I’m warning you that it might that I bit of time to finish up any of them. I put “I love Lee Tae Ri”, and “Ojakgyo Brothers” on hold. It just got a bit boring. Oh and I officially dropped “Big”, I might start it again if I have like nothing to watch and I’m really bored or something. I’m also going to start “Nice Guy”, LOOKS AMAZING and I love both the main actors for this drama so I am definitely watching that. “Panda And The Hedgehog” also looks pretty good, it’s cute and sweet AND has Donghae. Isn’t that enough? LOL so now to the drama review and enough with the rambling! Oh BTW I finished “Can You Hear My Heart” which I will be doing a review on soon, hopefully.

This drama gives me mixed feelings. It gives me a warm bubbly feeling at times, but it mostly makes my blood boil in anger most of the time. But you can’t hate this drama. It gets addicting, FAST. It makes you wonder what will happen next in EVERY episode. It’s a very exciting and blood pumping drama. For this review I’ll be separating it into two categories, LIKES AND IMPROVEMENTS/DISLIKES. This way I can say whatever I want without having it to fit directly into a category.

LIKES: Let’s start off with the positives. I love the castttt SO SO much, but the acting is a whole other story. The OST is also reallly reallly well thought out, at first I did not think that “Burn Out” by Block B fit the scenes and the drama itself, but slowly it worked. Surprisingly, it worked really well. Also whenever “Phantom of Opera” played during a scene, shivers climbed up my spine. It was FREAKY. Another thing I really found interesting about this drama is that it focuses on one big case through out the whole drama. It’s both a good thing, and a not as good thing. It’s kinda refreshing that it concentrates on one big case in a period of time, cause a lot of similar dramas have a different case in every episode (eg. Vampire Prosecutor). Another advantage for this is, that it allows the storyline to go more in depth of the case since it isn’t rushed to fit everything in an episode. Like why did the culprit commit the crime? and how? and also a little bit of the background of the victims.

DISLIKES/ IMPROVEMENTS: I like the drama, I really do. The acting is really good too, BUT So Ji-sub’s acting really did remind me of Kristen Stewart. I really don’t mind Kristen Stewart’s acting though, so So Ji-Sub’s acting didn’t really bother me too much. Even though most of the time you can’t tell what he is trying to express with just his facial expression. But for this drama, his acting fit his character well so it doesn’t really effect the enjoyment of this drama too too much for me. One last thing about it is the storyline. I did say that it is refreshing that it only focuses on one big case and it goes much more in depth of the case, but it also gets boring fast. (It does have like 2 side cases but not really any others.) For most of the drama, I was just thinking “Can you guys just catch the guy and move on? Gosh, how long does it take to catch one guy? Either you guys are really stupid or it’s just that the guy is super smart.” You pretty much know who the culprit is for most the drama, which makes it even more blood boiling. It’s like everybody knows who the guy is, but no one can catch him because they don’t have the evidence. EVIDENCE. OMG that makes me angry. This drama is about computer and technology stuff, and yet it seems like NOBODY knows how to COPY important information. They just think “Oh no one is going to steal this IMPORTANT evidence. So I’m not going to copy the evidence and let it be stolen.”!!!!!!!!!!! This drama also makes me kinda lose faith in justice and the police. This drama basically tells you that sometimes the police is not trust worthy and sometimes the law does not give others justice. Hopefully this is just an exaggeration of what happens in real life.

OVERALL I would rate this drama a 4 out of 5. Even though there are a lot of dislikes I have with this drama, this drama really got me excited and wanting more. I would recommend this drama to people into computers and technology kinda thing, cause I actually learn a lot about computer stuff that I did not before. There is no really apparent romance in this. You can sense that there are something going on between the characters, but there is no real romance that forms. So if you’re looking for a drama that will make you smile like an idiot, this is not the drama for you unless you just look at G.O’s face, or Daniel Choi or any of the hot guy’s faces (does anyone know who the Cantonese guy in the drama is? He’s so sexyyy, kinda. He can speak Cantonese, Korean AND ENGLISH!!! AHHH!! sorry fangirl moment there XD). If you want to watch a really sweet and romantic drama, watch “Absolute Boyfriend” (you might cry though at the end; hint if you cried reading the manga at the end you may or may not cry in the ending of “Absolute boyfriend” you probably will though.) or “Panda And The Hedgehog”. That is pretty much all I have to say about this drama. I’ll probably do a “Song Of The Week” soon or/and “Nice Guy” first impression (Kinda like a “Thoughts of Mine”), so look out for that ๐Ÿ˜€

My Queen: Drama Review

Started yesterday, finished today. Sadly, not because it is SUPERRR good but because I skipped 4 episodes and a lot of parts in each episode. I’ve watched this drama before, but never finished. I thought I would re-watch it, because many people like it. So I wanted to give it a second chance. No luck though, I still do not enjoy it as much as I would like. Personally I find the story line developed at a crawling speed. It is really slow, that I had to skip a lot of parts. I had no interest in many episodes, thus I skip them. To me it is almost to a point that the episodes are pointless/unneeded. Also the background music, the same song is overplayed. Even though it’s overplayed it’s a really good song. I really like the OST for this drama, but it isn’t the best. (still in love with “Goodbye My Princess”, “Burn Out” and “I’m Coming To See You”).

Good things about this drama:
This drama is not all bad. It has good points too. Cheryl Yang as Shan Wu Shuang, she is amazing with her crying scenes! But sadly the crying scenes are not as pretty as I Do I Do They had really pretty crying scenes. I’m weird like that XD
This drama is also very cute and lighthearted but at the same times, it can be very serious and heart aching. The best part about this drama is that I love both the lead actors (?) the second lead Wen Sheng Hao as Song Yun Hao and Ethan Ruan as Lucas. I never noticed, but Wen Sheng Hao is not half bad looking, he’s actually pretty good looking for an older guy. I really liked his character in this drama. I love both the guys, which is definitely better than leaning on one side. I really don’t mind if Yun Hao ends up with Wu Shuang. I actually like that, though I don’t mind Lucas and Wu Shuang. I just feel like Yun Hao truly loves Wu Shuang. Lucas may love her, but he’s still young, so he might not know what he really wants and needs. No matter how much he loves her, their dreams and wants are different, which is a big factor in a relationship. Not saying that it won’t work out, just it’s going to be harder for them. I honestly love Ethan’s character. He shows his feelings and does not hide them, which is also a very important factor in a relationship. I’m content with Lucas and Wu Shuang, just cause you can also tell that he loves her and she’s very happy with him.
Another character I love is JJ played by Harry Zhang. He is absolutely my favorite character. He’s so straight forward, and his personality generally is just so amazing. He’s a really good friend. I want a best friend like him. Also I love how he’s always sucking on a lollipop, so adorable!! His acting is also adorable. I just love himmm! ๐Ÿ™‚

Overall I would rate it a 2.5/5. Love the characters, but not so much the story line.
